Ingredients

  • 3–4 potatoes
  • 250g minced meat (shaped into small meatballs)
  • 4 tomatoes (cut in halves)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup cooking cream
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried garlic
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1–2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare tomato base
    Heat cooking oil in a pan
    Add 4 tomatoes cut in halves
    Cover and cook until soft
    Add:
    Black pepper
    Dried garlic
    Paprika
    Salt
    Fresh parsley
    Mix well
    Step 2: Add meatballs
    Add meatballs to the pan
    Cook together with the tomato mixture until well combined
    Step 3: Prepare potatoes
    Boil potatoes until soft
    Mash them well
    Add:
    Butter
    Cooking cream
    Salt & black pepper
    Mix until creamy
    Step 4: Assemble
    Place mashed potatoes in a baking dish
    Spread evenly
    Add the meatball tomato mixture on top
    Add mozzarella cheese
    Step 5: Bake
    Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden
