Ingredients

  • 4–3 large onions
  • 250g minced meat
  • 2 tablespoons rice
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • For the sauce:
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Fresh parsley
  • 1–2 cups water

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare onions
    Peel the onions
    Boil them briefly in water until slightly soft
    Remove and gently separate the onion layers
    Step 2: Prepare filling
    In a bowl, mix minced meat with:
    Rice
    Garlic
    Fresh parsley
    Salt & black pepper
    Paprika
    Olive oil
    Mix well
    Step 3: Stuff onions
    Take a portion of the meat mixture
    Place it inside an onion layer
    Repeat until finished
    Step 4: Arrange & cook
    Place stuffed onions in a pot or pan
    Prepare the sauce by mixing:
    Tomato paste
    Soy sauce
    Salt & pepper
    Parsley
    Water
    Pour the sauce over the onions
    Step 5: Cook
    Cover and cook on medium heat for 25–30 minutes until fully cooked
