Equipment

  • 5 chicken legs (boneless)
  • 3–4 potatoes (sliced)
  • 2 tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1–2 onions (round slices)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup cooking cream
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 small bunch parsley (chopped)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Step 1: Season the chicken
    In a bowl, mix:
    Olive oil
    Paprika, salt & pepper
    Turmeric & cumin
    Lemon juice
    Add boneless chicken legs and mix well
    Leave to marinate for 15–30 minutes
    Step 2: Prepare vegetables
    In a baking dish, arrange:
    Onion slices
    Potato slices
    Tomato slices
    Place the marinated chicken on top
    Step 3: Prepare sauce
    In a bowl, mix:
    Tomato paste
    Cream
    Olive oil
    Garlic
    Parsley
    Salt & pepper
    Paprika & turmeric
    Lemon juice
    Water
    Step 4: Assemble
    Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables
    Step 5: Bake
    Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes
    Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes until golden
