This Cheesy Tuna Potato Bake is a simple and satisfying oven recipe made with a crispy potato base and a rich tuna and egg topping. The grated potatoes are baked first to create a soft and slightly crispy layer.

Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes (grated)
  • Tuna (canned)
  • 3 eggs
  • Cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Bell pepper (chopped)
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh coriander
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare potatoes
    Grate potatoes
    Place them in a baking dish
    Add olive oil and black pepper
    spread evenly
    Bake until slightly cooked
    Step 2: Prepare filling
    In a bowl, add:
    Tuna
    Chopped onion
    Cherry tomatoes
    Bell pepper
    Fresh coriander
    Mozzarella cheese
    Add eggs
    Add salt & black pepper
    Mix everything well
    Step 3: Assemble
    Remove potatoes from oven
    Pour the mixture over the potatoes
    Add extra mozzarella on top
    Step 4: Bake
    Return to oven and bake until eggs are set and cheese melts
